IRDC Nepal — एकीकृत ग्रामीण विकास केन्द्र — is a nationally registered development organisation rooted in Bharatpur, Chitwan and committed to integrated rural development since 1996.
IRDC Nepal was founded in 1996 by a group of community development professionals in Bharatpur, Chitwan who believed that sustainable change could only come from within communities — not imposed from outside. Beginning with health and livelihood programmes in rural Chitwan, the organisation steadily grew in reach and credibility.
Over nearly three decades, IRDC Nepal (एकीकृत ग्रामीण विकास केन्द्र) has evolved into a multi-sector development organisation with expertise spanning health, education, WASH, livelihood, disaster risk reduction, gender equality, and renewable energy. Our headquarters remain in Bharatpur, Chitwan — a deliberate choice reflecting our commitment to being close to the communities we serve.
We are registered with the Social Welfare Council of Nepal (Affiliation No. 17420, issued 2005/02/11) and with the Internal Revenue Office, Bharatpur — transparent institutions recognised by government and international partners alike.
